The little black cat Rudolph knew only care and comfort all his short life, because he had wonderful owners. But a ridiculous coincidence brings Rudolph to the huge and completely unfamiliar city of Tokyo. There he falls under the patronage of a large adult cat, Ippai, who is feared by everyone in the district.
